Language Lounge's Events

I’m going to talk about Language Lounge’s Events.
First, there are some events at language lounge. Halloween party was held on October 31st. Some people change into a Halloween costume. Perhaps, you’ll learn to the home of Halloween.
Christmas party was held on December 5th. It’s event which celebrate the Christmas Day with many people. Participants only play games but also sing songs and get presents, of course they talk with different people.
Then, there is event on every Tuesday and Wednesday. This event is for foreigners. Assemblies tell them about Japan. There are many other interesting events at language lounge. If you are interested in these events, you should go there.

Life in Japan

I am going to talk about life in Japan. There are many houses which have tiles in Japan; it is useful to guard the roof from strong wing like a typhoon. Take off your shoes in front of hall in Japan. Don’t come in room with shoes wear because it’s rude in Japan.Now there are many houses which have bed, but Japan is famous for Japanese mattress which is laid on ground. It’s too hard, so please be careful, and don’t jump in Japanese mattress.In the summer, appear wind bells, burn a mosquito coil of incense. Wind bell’s sound softens the heat, and makes you heal. Burn a mosquito coil of incense is smoky, but it keeps mosquito off. Please don’t put things which can barn because it is cause of fire. In the winter, appear Kotatsu. It is very snug in Kotatsu, so watch out for not to being lazy.

World Fireworks Festival in Seoul

I’m going to talk about a fireworks festival.It is not only a display of fireworks, but there are also displays fireworks with music, and a laser show. So, I think there are lots of things for people to enjoy. In 2005, 55 thousands fireworks were shot off at this festival. It cost 1billion and 400 million won, it is about … yen. These fireworks are shot off a ship which is on the Hangan River. I think it’s a very enjoyable fireworks festival because this festival invites fireworks teams from all over the world. If you visit this festival, you can see the difference between eastern fireworks and western fireworks, and you will have a nice day.

Great Barrier Reef in Australia

First, I’ll tell you about the Great Barrier Reef. There are a lot of coral reefs there. The Great Barrier Reef is the largest coral reef system in the world, and it’s still growing now. There is a Heart shaped reef which is called Heart Reef.

There are also many creatures there, for example, clownfish, Paracanthurus hepatus, and so on. I think you all know the movie “Finding Nemo.” This place was used in the movie.
However, the Great Barrier Reef has environmental problems such as the increase of starfish that eat the coral reef, and the death of the coral reef because of global warming. The Australian government is trying to solve these problems. Otherwise, the coral reef will become extinct.

LEGOLAND in England

I am going to tell you about Lego. Do you know what Lego is?
The word, LEGO comes from Denmark, and it means “play well”. There are Lego bricks, the person who made this wandered what he could make out of this, and made Legoland.
There are many Legoland theme parks in the world. The first place was built in Denmark in 1968. It has 1.7 million visitors every year, and it became the largest tourist attraction in Denmark. The second place was England, and next America, Germany, and so on. Now, Legoland is famous all over the world. We will introduce the one in England, Windsor, near London; it’s the second oldest Legoland.

Setting:　It’s story which is one day in high school .Someone has never been the top of this high school.And now, one who is very near the top. It’s Serizawa.Genji who is this story’s hero want to be the top. So he fights Serizawa.

Recommendation: This movie’s highlight is how Genji become the top. Genji is strong, but Serizawa is strong, too. Really, Genji wins Serizawa? Or Serizawa wins Genji!? Then, let’s rent this movie and watch it!!!

2. BIOHAZARDⅢ (RESIDENT EVIL EXTINCTION)

Type: Horror / Action

Actors: Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Iain Glen and so on

Director: Russell Mulcahy

Setting: There was a company which is called Umbrella. This company developed bacteriological weapon secretly.But the virus escaped from company. And the virus spread around the world. Most people became zombie. Alice who is this story’s heroine fights them and UmbrellaCompany to stop spreading virus.

Recommendation: This movie’s highlight is Milla’s effort.She is Alice in the movie.
Alice is very strong fighter. So I think that Milla did hard practice. And how to knock down Zombie is highlight, too.

3. THE GOLDEN COMPASS

Type: Fantasy

Actor: Dakota Blue Richards,
Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig and so on

Director: Chris Weitz

Film Company: New Line Cinema

Setting: There are many parallel worlds. Most people has Dæmon which is a person’s soul resides outside the body in an animal-like form. Lyra can see the future. So she is watched for Marisa Coulter.

Recommendation:
This movie’s highlight is Golden Casts, and cute Dæmon, and Bear’s power. This book is loved in the world. So why don’t you watch it?
